SEAT as a brand is long established in Ireland so you’re likely already familiar with the Leon model. It’s been on Irish roads for over 20 years now.
This is the 5th generation and arguably the best-looking Leon to date. In my opinion, it’s actually one of the best-looking cars currently in production – we love it!
We have taken some photos outside our showroom in Sandyford of the new Leon beside its predecessor for comparison. The evolution in design is clear. The new SEAT Leon is contemporary, bold, and striking on road.
However, the exterior is not the only thing that’s changed! Inside has been completely redesigned delivering a cleaner, minimalist environment for the driver. You are now more connected than ever before with next-generation cutting edge technology at your fingertips.
Most functions are accessed and configured via the 10” touchscreen multimedia interface. This includes navigation, climate control and SEAT Drive Profile to name a few.
Being an all-new model, you might expect prices to increase dramatically. Don’t worry, the new 5 door SEAT Leon model starts at just €24,685 compared to €24,035 for the previous generation.
You get a lot of toys for your additional €650 including LED headlamps, keyless start, standard 8” multimedia interface and adaptive cruise control. Highbeam assist and fatigue detection now also comes as standard compared to costing excess of €2,000 on the previous model. A fantastic addition!
So, we know it looks the part but what about the engine? From launch, all DSG (Auto) Petrol models, ie. 1.0eTSI 115HP and 1.5eTSI 150HP deliver Mild Hybrid Technology. This helps you reduce emissions and fuel consumption and is your first step towards a greener lifestyle.
Later in 2020, there will be a 1.4e Hybrid 205HP DSG Version available which offers full Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicle technology and HOT hatch performance.
We think you’ll agree that the all-new Leon is a special vehicle! As good as it looks on screen, it needs to be driven to be fully experienced.
