Design

With its purposeful stance, raised ride height, rising shoulder line and swept-back roofline, the Arona is a vehicle that always looks poised for action. Its dynamic appearance is complemented by a bold colour palette and large alloy wheels that hint at its capability. Inside, there’s plenty of space for five, particularly since headroom is generous in both the front and rear. An intuitive cockpit ensures you stay firmly in control, while contoured seating supports you through the longest journeys.

Performance

There are plenty of engine options available, allowing you to choose your ideal Arona model. A 1.0-litre 94bhp petrol engine comes as standard with SE trims, providing zesty on-road performance that’s suited to driving around town. The most eco-friendly solution is a 1.6-litre 113bhp diesel unit, which returns as little as 3.6l/100km and produces emissions as low as 106g/km.

Technology and safety

For your entertainment, a six-speaker stereo is fitted as standard, featuring a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, DAB radio and an FM/AM tuner. Bluetooth features, too, providing audio streaming and hands-free communication. Upgrade to SE Technology trims for an eight-inch display, full Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility and a navigation system that includes 3D mapping.

The Arona’s crash-test performances have merited it a full five-star Euro NCAP rating. The vehicle comes with an array of safety features, such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, which reduces the risk of vehicular impact – and Tiredness Recognition system, which alerts the driver whenever it’s an appropriate time to take a break.
