The All-New Land Rover Discovery Sport Plug-In Hybrid is the pinnacle of its range. A premium compact SUV with plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) technology, delivering the performance, refinement and capability you would expect together with an electric-only range of up to 55km and CO2 emissions as low as 32g/km.
You can select from three driving modes to best suit their needs, whether they’re in the city or driving on the motorway:
HYBRID mode (the default driving mode) – automatically combines power from the electric motor and petrol engine. The operating strategy adapts to driving conditions and the remaining charge in the battery.
EV (Electric Vehicle) mode – enables the vehicle to run solely on the electric motor using the energy stored in the battery, for quiet, zero-tailpipe emission journeys.
SAVE mode – prioritises the combustion engine as its main power source, maintaining battery State of Charge at the chosen level.
With new features and the very latest technology, the new Discovery Sport delivers superior interior space and refinement, while its 5+2 interior features a new infotainment interface with the latest connectivity, plus a more flexible seating arrangement with up to 24 combinations for enhanced versatility.
Distinct contours, perfectly balanced proportions and characteristic design cues distinguish Discovery Sport.
Trademark Discovery design cues, including the clamshell bonnet, rising beltline and tapered roof remain, but the new model is a bold exterior evolution. The proportions have been optimised to project a more striking visual with new signature LED headlamps at the front and rear, alongside a new front grille and bumpers.
Inside, the arrival of the digital Touch Pro infotainment system and the introduction of more premium materials throughout transforms the cabin to create a high quality yet practical space. New seats across each of the three rows provide improved comfort and versatility, thanks to the second row 40:20:40 split fold and slide functionality, boosting the possible number of seat combinations to 24 and covering every eventuality – be it the school run or a family holiday.

Badged P300e, it is based on Land Rover’s state-of-the-art Premium Transverse architecture, which was designed to support electrification while maintaining Land Rover’s signature off-road capability.
The new plug-in hybrid P300e models join the existing 48-volt mild-hybrid SUVs, bringing new levels of efficiency to the premium compact SUV sector.
Performance and capability are uncompromised, the Discovery Sport offers 0-100km/h in 6.6 seconds (0-60mph in 6.2 seconds). And capable of reaching speeds of up to 135km/h (84mph) using electric power alone.
The Discovery Sport is able to offer high-tech features such as a 4G WiFi Hotspot, enabling passengers to stream their favourite shows or music, as well as the InControl interface, which helps you to stay informed when you’re out on the road. Discovery Sport keeps you in control and fully connected via its cutting-edge infotainment system. A clear, crisp interface with touchscreen controls makes operating the audio, communication and navigation functions simple, while the optional Smartphone Pack links you seamlessly to your mobile device
A selection of driver assistance aids helps to deliver an optimised, safer experience too, with features such as cruise control and Driver Condition Monitor, which detects signs of fatigue, fitted as standard. Optional Rear Traffic Monitor helps you to reverse safely by detecting pedestrians or obstructions that you may not see.
ClearSight Interior Rear-View Mirror
A first for Land Rover and among the many innovative features that make Land Rover Discovery Sport a pleasure to drive. This optional technology provides an unobstructed view of the road behind you, regardless of rear seat passengers or objects in the loadspace.
Matrix LED Headlights
Part of our range of innovative technologies, Matrix LED headlights with signature Daytime Running Lights (DRL) feature an adaptive beam. This maximises the number of high‑beam sections for ultimate visibility, while casting a shadow over oncoming traffic, helping prevent dazzling.
