New Volvo XC90 Hybrid

The all new Volvo XC90 T8 Twin Engine carries the proud and confident face of Volvo’s iconic design, along with classic Volvo styling cues.

Design

The XC90 balances power with sustainability thanks to a range of electrified powertrains includes mild hybrids and T8 Twin Engine models capable of zero-emissions travel. Available with five or seven seats meaning whichever version you choose, each seat is designed so that everyone sits in luxury.

The confident elegance of Scandinavian design principles bring a refined but powerful presence to the new XC90. As well as ample space for passengers, there is a flexible load compartment with up to 1868 litres of space. Making the cabin of the XC90 designed to make the driver and passengers life easier.

Sleek and responsive, many of the functions in the XC90 are controlled through the large central touch screen. The 9-inch touch screen is also incredibly intuitive and responsive. Perfectly situated behind the steering wheel, the digital driver display puts important information directly in front of you, and automatically adjusts brightness to the surrounding light conditions. The head-up display projects information onto the windscreen so you don’t need to take your eyes off the road, while the voice control function responds to natural speech, not just set prompts.

Performance

Volvo’s T8 Twin Engine delivers all the benefits of a high performance, low emission petrol engine with an electric motor that delivers power on demand with ultralow CO2 emissions, more than 40 km of pure electric range and a combined power output of around 410 hp. This makes the XC90 T8 Twin Engine one of the most efficient and powerful 7-seater premium SUVs on the market.

Electrification

The XC90's Twin Engine optimises itself to perfectly balance petrol and electric input for maximum efficiency and minimum emissions. Meaning you can drive economically with very low emissions.

Technology and safety

Volvo’s City Safety technology, standard on all Volvo models, combines automatic braking functionality and collision avoidance systems to cover a range of potential accident scenarios and help keep you safe. City Safety is the only system on the market that detects pedestrians, cyclists and large animals.

The Pilot Assist driver assistance system works up to 130 km/h on clearly marked roads and is another step towards Volvo’s Vision 2020, which states that no one should be killed or seriously injured in a new Volvo by 2020.
