The new Ford Ranger Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) brings a new level of innovation to Europe's best-selling pickup. Combining Ford's 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with an electric motor and an 11.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, this truck delivers impressive performance and efficiency. 697 Nm of torque and 281 PS, it surpasses the power of any previous production Ranger model.
The Ranger PHEV maintains its full towing capacity of 3,500 kg and a payload of up to one tonne, ensuring no compromise on capability. 43 km of zero-emission driving, helping to reduce running costs and environmental impact.
For the first time, the Ranger lineup introduces Pro Power Onboard, a feature that allows the truck to function as a mobile power source. The onboard battery can supply up to 6.9 kW of power, eliminating the need for a separate generator on a worksite or during recreational activities. The 6.9 kW system features two 15A outlets in the load box, with 3.45 kW available from each, which is sufficient to run heavy-duty equipment like a cement mixer, angle grinder, and floodlights simultaneously.
