Spirit Motor Group Finance Documentation Requirements

This document outlines the essential documentation required when applying for and completing vehicle financing through Spirit Motor Group. All digital documents should ideally be provided as clear, color copies in PDF format.

1. Individual Finance Application Requirements

For individuals applying for personal vehicle finance, the following documentation must be submitted:

• Application Form: A fully completed Blue Application Form.
• Proof of Earnings: Submission of recent payslips covering one of the following periods:
  • Last 2 monthly payslips
  • Last 3 fortnightly payslips
  • Last 4 weekly payslips
• Official Bank Statements: Up-to-date bank statements covering the last 3 months, provided in PDF format.
• Proof of Identification: A valid Irish driver's licence or a signed National Passport. The signature must be clearly visible. For individuals born outside the EU, a Stamp 4 Visa is also required.
• Confirmation of Employment: Required only if employment with the current employer is less than 6 months. This must be an official letter from the employer confirming full-time, permanent employment with no probation period.

For businesses or sole traders, the application requires the following specific documentation:

• Application Form: A fully completed Red Business Application Form.
• Company Bank Statements: Up-to-date business bank statements covering the last 3 months, provided in PDF format.
• Company Accounts / Notice of Assessments (NOA): The most recent Notices of Assessment, which can be downloaded from the Revenue account or requested directly from an accountant.

The following supporting documents are mandatory for completing the finance agreement. This applies to Private Individuals, Sole Traders, Company Directors, and all Shareholders with a 25% or greater stake:

• Proof of PPSN: A payslip, Revenue document, Drugs Payment Scheme Card, or Medical Card. Please note that the Public Services Card is NOT accepted.
• Proof of Identification: A valid Irish Driver's Licence or a signed National Passport. The signature must be visible, and a Stamp 4 Visa is required for those born outside the EU.
• Proof of Address: A recent utility bill issued within the last 90 days showing the applicant's full name and address exactly as it appears on the finance application. Acceptable bills include Gas, Electricity, Bank Statement, Credit Card Bill, or Revenue Documentation.

If funding is being arranged jointly, both parties involved must sign the finance documentation. Additionally, each party must individually provide all three supporting proofs listed above (PPSN, Identification, and Address).
