The Polestar 4 SUV evolves the Scandinavian design language and performance-led engineering of its coupé sibling into a more versatile, spacious SUV format. Combining assertive proportions with conscious luxury and intuitive technology, it redefines the modern electric performance SUV.
The Polestar 4 SUV commands the road with a powerful stance anchored by signature dual-blade headlights and an illuminated Polestar emblem. To enhance day-to-day capability, the silhouette introduces a straighter roofline, an upright tailgate, and full-length roof rails capable of supporting a 100 kg dynamic roof load.
Inside, Scandinavian minimalism is met with functional gains. The revised roofline gives second-row passengers an extra 2.5 centimetres of headroom, complementing the lounge-like proportions.
Cabin openness is accentuated by a standard full-length panoramic glass roof featuring black-off Polestar branding and 99.5% UV protection.An optional electrochromic glass roof allows occupants to dial down cabin glare at the tap of the central screen, switching between fully transparent, fully tinted, or selectively shaded segments.
For drivers seeking maximum responsiveness, the optionalPerformance Pack on Dual Motor editions introduces recalibrated ZF active dampers, Brembo brakes with Swedish gold callipers, and 22-inch forged wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber. Drivetrains are mirrored inside via bespoke seatbelts: charcoal on Rear Motor, a discreet gold pin-stripe on Dual Motor, and full Swedish gold webbing on Performance Pack cars.
The infotainment system receives an upgrade with the integration of Google Gemini, replacing conventional command-based assistants. Gemini understands complex, multi-turn dialogue, assisting with real-time navigation, schedule coordination, and spoken translation via Gemini Live. The central landscape touchscreen also expands its configurable quick-access widget dock from six to nine shortcuts.

The Polestar 4 SUV records one of the lowest lifetime carbon footprints in the brand's fleet: 20.2 tCO2e for Rear Motor variants and 21.1 tCO2e for the Dual Motor model.
This footprint reflects a strict focus on manufacturing transparency. The battery cells are built using 100% renewable electricity, while the aluminium architecture incorporates 23% recycled metal alongside raw aluminium sourced exclusively from hydro- and renewable-powered smelters.
Inside, upholstery options avoid conventional tanneries in favour of animal welfare-certified, chrome-free Nappa leather by Bridge of Weir, circular 3D Tailored Knit made from 89% recycled PET, or bio-attributed MicroTech crafted from recycled PET and bio-based polymers.
