Inside, there’s enough space for five occupants, and plush materials and fine finishes ensure a feeling of quality.
With entry-level SE trim lines, the Leon is installed with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which manages up to 4.1l/100km and produces CO2 emissions from 114g/km. This 110bhp unit allows the car to proceed from 0-100km/h in approximately 9.7 seconds, making it an agile performer in busy urban environments. The most eco-friendly engine option is a 1.6-litre 110bhp diesel unit that returns as much as 3.0l/100km and produces emissions as low as 94g/km.
Included as standard is an eight-inch touchscreen-operated sound system, complete with eight speakers, a CD player and DAB radio. As well as AUX inputs and four USB ports, the Leon comes with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing audio streaming and hands-free telephony.
Following a series of intensive crash tests, the Leon was awarded a maximum five-star rating by Euro NCAP. A wide range of passive safety features and driver aids are included as standard, such as multiple airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchor points and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
