Service and Booking Advisor - Spirit Jaguar Land Rover

About the role:

  • As a Booking & Service Advisor in Spirit Jaguar Land Rover, you will report to the Service Manager
  • Essential point of contact when a customer contacts us to book a vehicle for service and maintenance either by phone, email or face to face
  • Meeting, greeting customers and obtaining their details and service needs
  • Determining workshop availability for service, maintenance and repair work
  • Keeping appraised of progress on each customer vehicle ensuring and liaising with customer where there may be additional work, cost and time required
  • Co-ordinating the customer collection on time, explaining work undertaken and processing of payments
  • During the course of your role, you will be working with a team including Service management, workshop controller, and other staff at front of house, sales, parts, warranty and business management.
  • Contributing to gathering of customer service feedback
  • As a front-line member of staff, you will always be a brand ambassador for the Spirit Motor Group ensuring our customer service is maintained to the highest standards, utilising manufacturer, company standards and best practice
  • Relevant onboarding and training will be provided in systems and the brand


  • at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role working in the automotive industry
  • good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (fluent written and spoken English)
  • a working knowledge of ADP/Kerridge useful however training will be provided
  • proven experience in providing excellent service to front line customers
  • ability to prioritise, multi-task, manage time effectively particularly at peak times
  • flexibility in your approach to work
  • A driving licence valid for Ireland
  • An interest in cars
