Senior Parts Advisor – Spirit Motor Group – Baldonnell.

About the role
We
are looking for an experienced Senior Parts Advisor to join the busy
parts team at Spirit Ford Lillis O’Donnell Baldonnell, The Spirit Motor
Group is one of the largest automotive retail and aftersales groups in
Ireland. The successful candidate will be part of a busy, experienced,
and dedicated team assisting on a Trade, Retail and Workshop counter. On
the job training, product training and support will be provided for the
successful candidate. This is a great opportunity to join a highly
motivated team, with successful brands and dealer groups
Reporting to the Parts Manager you will be:
- Working with the parts team and assisting retail and trade customers with all parts requests.
- Processing counter, telephone, email and online enquiries including estimates
- Obtaining estimates / pricing using through our systems
- Ordering required parts using the Electronic parts catalogue
- Attending to and fulfilling Service Dept./ Fitters parts requirements
- Co-ordinating daily parts deliveries
- Pulling and Packing of orders for dispatch as requirement arises
- Assisting in receiving parts into stock in line with department procedures
- Reviewing stock inventory and contributing to the annual stock check
What you need
- Be literate and numerate (fluent written and spoken English)
- Friendly disposition with good communication skills face to face and on telephone
- An enthusiasm and interest in the many aspects of the motor industry
- A good level of IT/Computer skills, IT Business Systems (Keyloop an advantage)
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills with a flexible approach to work
- Previous Motor industry aftersales/parts knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Understanding of compliance with Health and Safety Rules and manufacturer guidelines
- Valid Visa/work permit to work in Ireland
